Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting variety earned her acclaim in a variety of genres from period drama to thriller and action adventure. Johansson is the daughter of a filmmaker and architect. She was raised by New York City. Hunter is her twin sister, was also born in the city of New York. From a young age she began to develop a passion for acting. She began performing in commercials by the age seven. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after and was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. In the year she turned eight old, Johansson starred alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway musical. And at age nine, she debuted in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson subsequently appeared on screen in Just Cause (1995) but her first breakthrough came with Manny & Lo (1996) an upcoming film that follows abandoned sisters who escape. Then, she was awarded the praise of critics for playing an teen girl who been injured and resulted in her being disfigured in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more acclaim with the film Ghost World (2002) as the outcast cynical Rebecca. The actress is most famous for her role as Nell Jones (on CBS' famous show NCIS Los Angeles). She is among the main cast members. Apart from her role in the production, she's an experienced stage actress. The actress gave spectacular performances, including Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the realm of entertainment as a child. She discovered her passion for acting as a young child. Smith landed the first of many acting jobs when she was just six. Smith appeared in a Dannon TV commercial. As many new actresses choose to pursue, she decided to build her skills in theater. As she worked on other projects in the USA she also had her stage debut with Wildflower. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
