Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray-Joel is an American musician, singer-songwriter. Her parents are to singer Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Joel, a New Yorker born in the city, shares her parent's love of music and fashion. As a teenager she started a band and staged her first live performance at Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. Her popularity exploded in just a few years. In the year 2006, Joel released her first extended performance Sketches. The EP was released by the Audio Bee record label the EP was instrumental in helping her find a solid position in the market. In the years since, she's made several singles available and has appeared on numerous live events. Joel has been part of the fashion industry since her early years and has appeared at various fashion shows and as a performer. The BELLA Beauty issue of the magazine had Joel as their cover star in 2018. She was taken to hospital after she ingested an excess of Traumeel in December 2009. Following her full recovery she said she had no intention to cause harm to herself.
