Molly is an Pennsylvania native who began acting professionally when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she received a Barrymore Award nomination. Following her Broadway debut at the tender age of 15 she reprised the role and won an award from the Drama League Award. Molly was in Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a part in the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. In this period when she made her feature film debut in the Disney film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut.
